Amos-17 Satellite Successfully Launched

Cape Canaveral Air Station, Florida, August 6, 2019--SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket successfully lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, the AMOS-17 satellite for Spacecom (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: SCC). Liftoff occurred at 7:23 p.m. EDT, or 23:23 UTC and the satellite was deployed approximately 31 minutes after liftoff.

Gilat Reports Continued Profitability Growth in Q2 2019, Operating Income Rises 17.9%

Petah Tikva, Israel, August 6, 2019 — Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ, TASE: GILT), today reported its results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. Gilat said renues for Q2 2019 totaled $59.7 million compared with US$ 66.5 million for Q2 2018. Its Q2 2019 GAAP operating income increased 17.9% to US$ 4.9 million from US$ 4.1 million in Q2 2018 while Q2 2019 Non-GAAP operating income rose to US$ 6.3 million, or by 10.8% from Q2 2018.
