Santa Clara, Calif., February 10, 2021-- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today that its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., a world leader in high-power amplifiers, has received a follow-on order for US$ 1.6 million for Ka-band Solid-State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs) that use state-of-the-art Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology for an In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) application.

Herndon, Va., February 4, 2020–ST Engineering iDirect, a global leader in satellite communications, has been awarded a contract by system integrator Shaf Broadcast, Pvt. Ltd, on behalf of the Indian state-owned telecommunications company, BSNL, to augment satellite bandwidth to the offshore Indian islands of Andaman, Nicobar and Lakshadweep under a Universal Service Obligation (USO) project funded by the Department of Telecommunications. Utilizing the award-winning Newtec Dialog® platform to provide internet and 2G, 3G and 4G services, the connectivity will boost social and economic activity to islands that previously had limited access to bandwidth.

Tempe-Ariz., January 28, 2021--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today, that during its second quarter of fiscal 2021, its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., which is part of Comtech’s Commercial Solutions segment, was awarded an US$ 11.4 million delivery order in support of a previously announced US$ 58.8 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract from the U.S. Naval Information Warfare Systems Command. Funded orders received to-date under this IDIQ contract now total US$ 42.1 million.

Washington, D.C., January 26, 2021--HISPASAT, the Spanish satellite telecommunications operator, has signed a multi-year and multi-transponder agreement with Gilat Satellite Networks, to renew and expand the contracted satellite capacity to extend the mobile networks in the United States using Amazonas 2 and 3 satellites located in the 61º West orbital position. As part of this agreement HISPASAT will connect hundreds of base stations of Gilat’s strategic customers, including several mobile operators.
