ABS Granted Landing Rights in Brazil for ABS-3A on C and Ku-bands at 3°West

HISPASAT and QUANTIS to Provide Broadband via Satellite to North Africa

Madrid, Spain, March 2, 2016--Spanish satellite communications operator HISPASAT, and QUANTIS, together with their Moroccan subsidiary NORTIS, a leading operator in data, voice and satellite Internet services in Spain and Morocco, have signed a contract to provide satellite broadband services in North Africa. The agreement between the two companies establishes the use of space capacity of the Ka frequency band of the Hispasat 30W-6 satellite until the end of its useful life, estimated at fifteen years, at a cost of approximately 125 million euros.
