Montreal, Quebec, September 9, 2016–Tangerine and UHP Networks have completed roll-out of an advanced VSAT network servicing the needs of broadband customers in North America. The network operates over the Intelsat Epic^NG® platform and uses the latest high throughput satellite (HTS)-ready VSAT technology from UHP Networks. Amsterdam, The Netherlands, September 7, 2016 —Walton De-Ice (www.de-ice.com), the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of satellite earth station antenna (ESA) weather protection solutions, announced that Telespazio, a Leonardo-Finmeccanica and Thales company, has upgraded its Walton’s Plenum Hot-Air De-Icing systems (Walton De-Ice Plenum, Snow Shield and Ice Quake systems) with Walton’s latest CE-approved gas heaters and Control systems to help provide the highest level of uptime during winter at the Fucino Space Center.  At Fucino, Telespazio will upgrade seven gateway antennas, ranging in size up to 18 meters in diameter.  It joins a growing number of facilities in Europe that have recently added or upgraded Walton De-Icing systems. 

Montreal, Canada, September 6, 2016--Icarusnet, a leading Italian VSAT service provider, and UHP Networks, a Canadian manufacturer of advanced VSAT equipment, have announced a major expansion of the Icarusnet network.  The network, which currently has more than 500 stations, will by the end of the year increase its size to over 1,500 stations.  It operates over Eutelsat 33C satellite and delivers enterprise-grade service to a variety of utility companies across Western Europe and the Mediterranean area, with plans to deploy new services in Central Europe and in the Middle East in 2017-2020.
