The SIA Board of Directors elected Stacy Fuller of DIRECTV to serve as Chair for the coming year, joined by Jennifer Manner of EchoStar, as Vice Chair, and Patricia Cooper of Intelsat, as Treasurer.

Lermann is responsible for driving product strategy and global business development for WORK Microwave‘s SatCom, Defence, and Sensor units to increase the company's worldwide sales presence and revenue streams.

Bingen am Rhein, Germany, December 19, 2014--  Starting in January 2015 Broadcast Solutions GmbH, a Germany-based specialist in Ourside Broadcast (OB) vans and provider of broadcast and multimedia solutions will open a new office in Bangkok. Broadcast Solutions has appointed Tevarit Dolorfino as Sales & Marketing manager and head of the Bangkok-based subsidiary office.

London, UK, December 16, 2014--The GVF has appointed five members to its  Board of Directors. Joining the Board are Yasir Hassan of the Arab Satellite Communications Organization (ARABSAT) and Michael DeMarco of Intelsat; re-elected to the Board are Arunas Slekys of Hughes Network Systems, Jonas Eneberg of Inmarsat, and Nancy Eskenazi of SES.  The five elected Directors join two seated Board Members: Simon Gray of Eutelsat and Timothy Shroyer of General Dynamics’ SATCOM Technologies.

Washington, D.C., December 9, 2014–The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today announced that SIA’s Board of Directors has appointed Tom Stroup to the position of President, effective December 15th. Stroup’s appointment follows an extensive search to replace the former President, Patricia Cooper, who departed SIA earlier this year for private industry.

Malaga, Spain December 8, 2014–Tedial, an independent MAM technology solutions specialist, has appointed Terry Spittle as its new Director of Global Operations and Support. Spittle will have oversight of Tedial’s Implementation Engineering, Installation and Service and Support teams. He will be responsible for defining and developing enhanced internal process infrastructure, enabling the company to support its growing worldwide customer base and partner network. Spittle will also provide a senior level liaison point for clients and project partners.
