HISPASAT Marks its 25th Anniversary by Investing in Growth

Madrid, Spain, October 23, 2014- Spanish satellite telecommunications operator, HISPASAT, celebrated its 25th anniversary yesterday, with a concert held at the Royal Theatre in Madrid. The event was presided by His Majesty the King, the Spanish Minister of Industry, José Manuel Soria, also being present. Other renowned members of the Spanish government attended as well, alongside key executives from the aerospace, telecommunications and television industries.  

RSCC's Express-AM6 Satellite Successfully Launched

Baikonour, Kazakhstan, October 21, 2014--the Russian communications and broadcasting satellite Express-AM6 was launched into orbit today by a  Proton-M rocket booster  from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 19.09 (Moscow time). The new Express-AM6 heavy-class space vehicle will be deployed into geostationary orbit at 53 ° East, from where it will provide coverage of European Russia, the Urals and Western Siberia as well as the Middle East, Europe and Africa.

Arianespace Successfully Launches Two Satellites for the Americas

Kourou, French Guiana, October 16, 2014-- Arianespace has successfully launched two telecommunications satellites: Intelsat 30, which is hosting the DLA-1 Ku-band payload for DIRECTV Latin America, is designed to provide distribution services for DIRECTV Latin America in South America and the Caribbean and ARSAT-1, which features direct-to-home (DTH) TV broadcast payloads for Latin America.
