Inmarsat’s second Global Xpress Satellite Successfully Launched

Baikonour, Kazakhstan, February 2, 2015 – Inmarsat (LSE:ISAT.L), announces the successful launch of its second Global Xpress (GX) satellite (Inmarsat-5 F2) on board an International Launch Services (ILS) Proton Breeze M rocket launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Sunday, February 1st at 12:31 GMT.

Amino Technologies Returns to Growth in 2nd Half 2014

Cambridge, UK, February 2, 2015--Amino Technologies plc. a provider of  digital entertainment solutions for IPTV, OTT and in-home multimedia distribution, announced audited results for the fiscal year ended 30 November 2014. Revenues were in line with expectations at £36.2m (2013: £35.9m) with return to growth in the second half. Gross margin was up 1 percentage point to 46.3% (2013: 45.3%)

Satellite Operators Stress Importance of C-band for Vital Satellite Services in Africa

Imagine Communications Acquires RGB Networks

Dallas, Tex. Jan. 26, 2015 — Imagine Communications today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of RGB Networks, Inc., a  provider of multiscreen video delivery solutions based in Sunnyvale, California. The transaction, subject to customary approvals and closing conditions, will include the majority of RGB Networks’ employees.

L-3 Acquires MITEQ

Hauppauge, NY, January 23,2015-- L-3 Communications (NYSE:LLL) announced today that it acquired the assets of MITEQ, Inc. for U$ 41 million..The business will be combined with L-3’s Narda Microwave-East business located in Hauppauge, N.Y., and the new organization will be called L-3 Narda-Miteq.

Putin Endorses Merger of Roscosmos and URSC

Moscow, Russia, January 21, 2015-- Russian President Vladimir Putin supported Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s proposal to merge Roscomos and the United Rocket and Space Corporation into a single state-run company, which will also be called Roscosmos according to Russian news agency TASS.

The current Director-General of the United Rocket and Space Corporation, Igor Komarov, will be heading the new company.

ORBCOMM Completes InSync Software Acquistion

Netgem 4th Quarter 2014 Revenues Down 11%

Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, January 15, 2014--For the quarter ended December 31, 2014, consolidated home entertainment solutions provider Netgem announced a consolidated revenue of € 14.3 million, bringing total consolidated revenue for 2014 to € 72.5 million, down 11% compared to 2013.
