RSCC's Express-AM4R Fails to Reach Orbit

Baikonur, Kazakstan, May 16, 2014--The Proton-M carrier rocket launch of RSCC's Express-AM4R satellite from the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan failed to biring the satellite into geostationary orbit. The rocket carrying the satellite went down nine minutes after launch today.

  

Eutelsat Posts Slight Increases in Revenues for Third Quarter and Nine Months Fiscal 2013-2014

Paris, France, May 15, 2014 – Eutelsat Communications today reported revenues for the third quarter and nine months ended 31 March 31, 2014. Revenues for the first nine months were up by 2.5%, at constant currency excluding non-recurring and Satmex revenues. Third quarter revenues were up by 1.5%, and by 6% including Satmex, which was consolidated from January 1, 2014. The total order backlog stood at the  €5.8 billion.

HISPASAT and Intelsat Team up in Latin America

Telenor Posts Slight Revenue Growth in 1st Quarter 2014

Oslo, Norway, May 7, 2014--In the first quarter of 2014, Telenor Group reported revenues of NOK 26.5 Billion (approxiametely US$ 4.4 Billion), representing an organic revenue growth of 1.5%. EBITDA before other items was NOK 9.3 Billion, the EBITDA margin was 35% and operating cash flow was NOK 5.6 billion.

ITC Global Marks First Quarter by Closing over US$ 30 million in New Service Contracts

Intelsat 1st Quarter Results in Line with Guidance

Washington, D.C., May 1 2014--Intelsat S.A. today reported total revenue of US$ 628.9 million and net income attributable to Intelsat S.A. of US$ 81.9 million, or $0.70 per common share on a diluted basis, for the three months ended March 31, 2014.  The company reported adjusted net income per diluted common share1 of $0.92 for the three months ended March 31, 2014.
