SES Awards SES-12 Launch Contract to Arianespace

Betzdorf, Luxembourg, January 22, 2015--SES S.A. (NYSE Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG) announced today that the company has selected Arianespace to launch the powerful new hybrid communications satellite, SES-12, on board an Ariane 5 booster from the European Space Center in Kourou, French Guiana, during Q4 2017. This will be the 40th launch of an SES spacecraft on board an European Ariane launch vehicle.

ORBCOMM Completes InSync Software Acquistion

MPA report Projects Asia Pacific Online Video revenues at US$12 bil. by 2020

Hong Kong, January 13, 2015--A research report published by Media Partners Asia (MPA) indicates that the total market for online video services across 13 countries in Asia Pacific will grow from US$ 3.5 billion in net revenues in 2014 to reach US$12.4 billion by 2020, representing a average annual growth of close to 23.5%. Advertising will contribute more than 80% to the online video pie by 2020 with the subscription revenue opportunity, largely driven by subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) platforms, growing from less than US$700 mil. in 2014 to more than US$2.3 bil. by 2020.

OTT STB shipments in China to Grew 20% in 2014

Taipei, Republic of China, January 2, 2015--China's over-the-top (OTT) set-top box (STB) market started taking off in 2012 and enjoyed a 10-fold on-year growth in 2013, but the market started seeing decline in the third quarter of 2014 because of the China government's restrictions on OTT STBs and the issue could cause the market to see only around 20% on-year growth in 2014 according to Digitimes Research.

O3b Successfully Launches Four More Satellites to Complete Iniitial Constellation

Le Centre Spatial Guyanais, Kourou, French Guiana , December 18, 2014: Arianspace successfully launched four satellites for O3b using a Soyuz rocket from the Space Center in French Guiana. The launch follows the successful launches of the first eight O3b satellites in two batches in June 2013 and July 2014, completing the initial constellation of 12 satellites for O3b's medium-earth orbit, all-Ka-band system.

Gazprom Space Systems' Yamal-401 Satellite Successfully Launched

Baikonour Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan, December 15, 2014 – International Launch Services (ILS), successfully launched Gazprom Space Systems' Yamal-401 satellite into geosynchronous orbit today on a Proton rocket. This was the landmark 400th mission for the Proton launch vehicle since its first flight in 1965.
