Five AvL Technologies Antennas Now Certified For Use on the ViaSat Enterprise Service Network

Asheville, N.C., September 10, 2015–AvL Technologies announced that  five new Premium Ka-band Mobile VSAT antenna models have received terminal type approval certification from ViaSat Inc. (NASDAQ: VSAT) for use on the ViaSat Ka-band enterprise service network. The antennas include an 85cm FlyAway, 85cm Vehicle-Mount, 1.2m FlyAway, 1.2m Vehicle-Mount, and specialized dual-band 1.2m Vehicle-Mount antenna. These new AvL antennas are approved for use on the ViaSat network with AvL’s AAQ auto-acquire embedded antenna control system. 

ABS-3A Satellite Enters Commercial Service

Hong Kong, September 10, 2015-- The world’s first all-electric propulsion satellite, ABS-3A satellite is now in full commercial use. The satellite started service on  August 31, 2015 to serve the Americas, Africa, Europe and the Middle East regions.  Launched on March 1, 2015, the ABS-3A satellite built by Boeing has performed even better than expected having arrived ahead of schedule. In-Orbit tests have been successfully completed and the satellite became fully operational on August 31, 2015.
